Charges dropped in Ben Hill molestation case

BEN HILL CO., GA (WALB) -

Charges have been dropped against a man who was accused of molesting two children.

According to the Ben Hill County Superior Court Clerk, the county District Attorney's office will not pursue litigation in the original case against Ricky Manning, 43. He was formerly accused of molesting a child at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Daycare where he worked in April 2012.

Documents from the court dated Monday, September 23 show that an order was signed and approved by Assistant District Attorney Bradford Rigby to no longer prosecute the case.

According to Manning's attorney, Manning was issued and made bond in late April 2012.

All charges associated with the case have been dropped.
