Peanut Butter Pie

Crust

  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • 1 ¼ cup crushed chocolate cookie crumbs

Mix together by hand and press into a pie plate. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes and allow to cool completely.

Pie filling

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup peanut butter (creamy)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbs. Butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Blend until creamy. Whip 1 cup heavy whipping cream and fold gently into peanut butter mixture. Pour into prepared pie crust. Garnish with chopped peanut butter cups, shaved chocolate or chopped peanuts!

Note- Chill for 4-6 hours before serving or pop in freezer for 1 hour so that pie will hold together and slice easily.

To lighten up

  • Substitute pie crust for pre-made pie chocolate pie crust (Tested with Keebler)
  • Substitute cream cheese for 1/3 less fat cream cheese
  • Use reduced fat peanut butter
  • Substitute fat free cool whip for whipping cream
