DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) -

We're following breaking news out of Douglas Thursday morning. Georgia State Patrol Troop 8 is working the scene of a fatal wreck.

It happened around 5:30, at the intersection of Bowen's Mill road and Willacoochee. We're told someone driving a truck drove into the back of a log truck.

The Douglas Police Department just confirmed that the driver of the SUV truck died. We'll continue to follow this story throughout the day. Look for updates on walb.com
