Albany State freshman April Thomas is just 5 feet and 1 inch tall
"I'm used to it, that's been going on since middle school"
But while small in stature, Lil Mama's got game

The freshman sensation from Bainbridge has taken the SIAC by storm and at over 18 points a game leads all players big and small in scoring in just her very first year.
"First 5 games, I pretty much had it easy but around the 6th,7th, 8th game, they started playing me a lot closer"
But April's hot hand continued, bucket after bucket. All this after always being told hey you're too short "
"I heard that all my life and the people that told be that. It actually made me stronger, it made me fight more"
