
AMERICUS, GA (WALB) - After running the table in conference play, the South Georgia Tech Lady Jets sweeps the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association honors.
Lady Jets forward Shontae McCall has been named the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association player of the year.
South Georgia Tech head coach Brandan Harrell is the coach of the year.
Harrell led the Lady Jets to perfect 18-0 record in conference play.
McCall was the Lady Jets top player.
She is averaging 16 points and 10 rebounds a game.
McColl also leads the conference in assists.
Joining McCall on the GCAA 1st team are Darton's Michelle Mitchell and Bianca Fennessee from Albany Tech.
Shanique Holston from South Georgia earn 2nd team honors along with Shakima Wiggins of Albany Tech.
South Georgia Tech has the number one seed for this week's conference tournament.
The tournament starts with games at the top 4 seeds Tuesday and the semifinals and finals are Friday and Saturday at Armstrong Atlantic State in Savannah.
