PAVO, GA (WALB) - A suspected Valdosta drug dealer was arrested late last week after he was caught during a delivery.

Thomas County narcotics agents set up surveillance outside an IGA grocery store in Pavo.

They got a tip that 24-year-old Justin Nickson would be showing up there with drugs.

When he arrived, they searched his vehicle. "And immediately we saw a loaded .45 handgun on the floorboard next to Mr. Nickson's feet. At which time they were both of course removed from the vehicle. We than found two bags of powdered cocaine and a bag of marijuana," said Narcotics Commander Kevin Lee.

Nickson is charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of marijuana.
