LEESBURG, GA (WALB) - Package deals are not that unusual in college recruiting.
Truett-McConnell finding not one but two talented cross country runners in Lee County.
Sisters Lauren and Ashley Tosky signed to run cross-country at Truett-McConnell College Friday morning.
Truett started recruiting Lauren last year at Lee County High.
She mentioned she had a sister who ran for the region champion Darton College team.
The two sisters have been training together for years and are looking forward to becoming teammates next year.
Lauren Tosky said. "We thought it would be good if we went to college together. So, we could continue pushing together. Bonding and just being together."
Ashley Tosky said. "We are kind of like best friends now but then it will kind of like be more. Because we are going up there five hours away and we don't know anybody. I think it will be good."
Ashley Tosky earned second team all-region honors last year at Darton.
