CORDELE, GA -

An early morning fire in Cordele left a large house in ruins.

Crisp County Fire officials say the 4400 square foot home on Saddle Creek Drive is a complete loss.

The fire broke out around 10 o'clock Thursday morning.

Firefighters had the flames contained in about an hour, but they were still there putting out hotspots late Thursday afternoon.

Officials say the fire started in the utility room. No one was hurt.

The home belongs to Michael and Cynthia Edalgo.
