ALBANY, GA -
The District Attorney's Office says that two juveniles, one 11, and the other under 16, are being held in the Albany Regional Youth Detention Center in connection with the Saturday shooting death of Darius Wallace, 13.
The district attorney's office says that several kids were playing without adult supervision in a house near Lynn Lane and Crawford Drive when Wallace was shot and killed.
The 11-year-old boy is thought to be the one who pulled the trigger, and the other boy is being held in connection with the incident, but the D.A.'s office will not say what the specific reason is.
For now, the case will go to juvenile court, and the state will determine whether the charge will be murder or manslaughter.
It is possible that the case could go to Superior Court.
