You've got a new option for food in downtown Albany as new businesses continue to open in the heart of the city.
Store owners cut the ribbon, Friday, at Our Daily Bread on North Washington Street.
The new store sells fresh fruits and vegetables, serves lunch and even coffee and lattes.
The owner says he's a strong believer in buying local for his store and hopes people in Albany will support that.
"90% of our fruits and vegetables will come from them (local farmers). They will be our first choice. As long as they have it we're buying from them because we're a community and the only reason we're here is because of the locals here," said Jason Warren.
Warren's new business created jobs. He has already hired six employees.
