If you fly out of Atlanta's airport on Sunday February 15th, you'll have a new choice. Southwest Airlines will begin flights to and from Hartsfield-Jackson International airport.
Southwest bought Air Tran airlines for 1.4 billion dollars in 2010, which is how they were finally able to get into the Atlanta market.
Depending on when you book your Southwest flight, it could cost you $79 to $100 each way. Southwest will offer 15 flights a day out of Atlanta.
Customers can expect not to be charged baggage or change fees. Something else different about Southwest, is that they don't have business class. Every passenger is considered first class.
