Free ride home or a night in jail?

Posted: Updated:
ALBANY, GA -

The Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Program has something for you Super bowl weekend. It can either be a trip to jail if you're caught driving drunk, or a free ride home.

If you question whether or not you're ok to drive, Triple A says don't do it. Police, state troopers and sobriety checkpoints will be used Super bowl weekend to keep impaired drivers off the road.

The state and a national campaign teamed up to keep drivers safe. Different taxi companies are offering free rides home throughout Georgia.

If you live in Southwest Georgia, you'll probably use Triple A's Tow To Go Service. They're offering a free ride home to members and non-members.

The AAA tow truck will take you and your car safely to the house. Since the program started, more than 18,000 drivers have used 'Tow To Go' when they drank to much.

This free service will run throughout weekend. Call 1-800-AAA-HELP if you need a ride home.
