Albany Police say a man was shot Saturday around 6:30 p.m. at 655 Zackery Avenue. Authorities say the victim was shot in the upper thigh by a Lee County bail bondsman who works for ABC Express Bailbonds.More >>
The bond for Steve McGowan and Billy Moore was posted Tuesday for $10,000 dollars each. The two bail bondsman have been in jail since Saturday, charged with aggravated assault and reckless conduct after a shooting.More >>

A south Georgia man is in the surgical intensive care unit of a Macon hospital after his pickup truck was hit by a train Wednesday night.
This is the truck 21-year old Cynmeyon Roberts was driving around 9:30 last night in Ben Hill County.
He did not stop at rail crossing stop sign on Shop Road near the CSX terminal.
A train traveling at a slow speed hit the truck. Roberts suffered a head injury and was taken to the Medical Center in Macon.
His passenger was not injured.
Roberts will be charged with failure to stop at a stop sign.
