Albany Police say a man was shot Saturday around 6:30 p.m. at 655 Zackery Avenue. Authorities say the victim was shot in the upper thigh by a Lee County bail bondsman who works for ABC Express Bailbonds.More >>
The bond for Steve McGowan and Billy Moore was posted Tuesday for $10,000 dollars each. The two bail bondsman have been in jail since Saturday, charged with aggravated assault and reckless conduct after a shooting.More >>

THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - A south Georgia women's organization is having one of its biggest fundraisers of the year this weekend.
The Junior Service League's Bargain Bazaar kicks off Friday night at the Thomasville Exchange Club Fairgrounds.
The upscale yard sale will include clothes, toys, housewares, sporting goods, and more.
All of the money will benefit children in Thomas County. "We invite all the community to come out and support it. All the proceeds will go straight back into the community to various children's organizations and everything that doesn't sell will be donated to local charities around Thomasville. So all of your money will go to a good cause," said Member Jaime Alligood.
The event begins with a preview party Friday night at 5:30.
