Stolen forklift was scrapped for metal

Irwin County investigators now say a stolen forklift was sold as scrap metal and they know who did it.

Earlier this week, a 1970 military forklift that looked like this one seen on the right was stolen last week from property on Highway 319. 

Authorities have a warrant out for Joe Fletcher from Tifton. 

They say he sold the metal from the forklift for almost a thousand dollars.
