11 Students Arrested in Monroe High Fight

11 students were arrested following a fight at the bus stop behind Monroe High School Monday afternoon.

The fight started about 4:15 PM Monday. School Police Investigators say two juvenile students assigned to the alternative school were on the Monroe campus, and seemed to have started the fight.

 No one was injured, and Investigators say it does not appear to have any gang connection. The students ranged from 15 to 17 years old, and were charged with misdemeanors ranging from disruption of a public school to simple battery.

All the students were given ten days suspensions, and then will have to appear before a student tribunal hearing.
