Approximately 21,000 adults in Albany Tech's services delivery area need to earn a GED to prove that they are functionally literate.
Functional literacy is usually needed for admission to higher education and to prove work readiness.
The faculty and staff of Albany Technical College accept the challenge of increasing enrollments in and graduation from adult Education. Regardless to their academic area, our faculty understands the need to include graduates from adult education in all of our programs.
Consequently we need your input. Hopefully we can together find a way to refer at least 10 individuals from your organization's sphere of influence to adult education at Albany Tech.
You may return the referrals by mail, email, or fax them to Albany Technical College at (229) 430-3594.
Thank you for your support of Albany Technical College.
If the college or I can be of assistance please don't hesitate to call. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
I can be reached at (229) 430-0656 or at aparker@albanytech.edu. I look forward to hearing from you.
