Seminole County and the City of Donalsonville emergency response agencies took park in a mass casualty incident drill on Sheffield Drive.
The drill was sponsored by Seminole County EMS and coordinated by training officer Charles Avery.
The drill was designed to expose the strengths and weaknesses in their ability to respond and manage a mass casualty event.
In the coming days, department heads of the responding agencies will be receiving a report detailing the strengths and weaknesses.
These types of exercises are vital to ensure that all emergency agencies are prepared to respond to events of this scales.
The drill scenario was set up as a multiple vehicle crash. There were 12 simulated patients. The patients were students from Bainbridge College's EMT program, and members of the local community.
The students of Seminole County High School were spectators to the drill.
After the drill, a member of the Georgia State Patrol spoke to the students about the dangers of making bad driving decisions.
