One young man turned an Albany community project into art.
Justin Hodges helped bring the skate park to Albany about 5 years ago, and now he is being recognized for his photography of that park.
The pictures started as a class project but evolved into something much more.
In his exhibit Face to Face, Hodges explores the relationships formed and lessons learned through an often misunderstood BMX and skate culture.
"From my experience with BMX, I learned a lot about persistence and communication, relationships, how relationships work, I learned about dedication and being passionate about something, and really pursuing it," says Justin Hodges, Artist.
The show runs through January 31st at the Carnegie Library downtown, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
