Terrell County, GA -

The Terrell County Commissioners is considering a countywide ban on Pit Bulls.

Lawana Friddell presented her case at this morning's meeting, explaining why they should regulate the breed.

The Fridells provided information and stats as to why pit bulls can be dangerous. Back in December, the Friddell family lost over 30 sheep after two Pit Bulls attacked them.

"I never knew that these dogs could be so vicious. I'm sure they're people that own these dogs that are wonderful pets. I also want to caution them be very careful," said Farm owner Lawana Friddell.

"I think their marching orders are very specific. They want me to come back to the next meeting with a proposed ordinance," said County Attorney Ed Collier.

The board will vote on a final ordinance at the next County Commission meeting. The next meeting will take place Wednesday February, 1 at 8:30am.
