The Albany Humane Society is getting a makeover thanks to some help from a national humanitarian group and national dog food company.
South Georgia Sears and Kmart shoppers are waiting to her in their favorite stores will close.
Sears Holdings Corporation plans to close 120 Sears and Kmart stores nationwide after weak holiday sales.
The company hasn't named the locations yet.
Sales at Sears Holding have fallen every year since it was formed through the merger of Sears and Kmart in 2005. Kmart customers we talked to today are disappointed by today's news.
"Oh, if they close this one I'll probably shop at Target," said Kmart shopper Joyce Ward.
"They kept layaway when Wal Mart stopped so I think a lot of business shifted this way," said Kmart shopper Victoria Haynes.
Sears Holdings plans to lower its fixed costs by $100 million to $200 million and trim its 2012 peak domestic inventory by $300 million.
