ALBANY, GA -
Traps are now set in hopes of catching two killer pit bulls running loose in Terrell County.
The traps, baited with peanut butter and cat food, were set on property on Lover's Lane Road, the same area where the dogs killed 20 sheep Monday.
There have been several sightings of the dogs and a reward is offered for their capture.
"When I saw the Pit bulls go under the fence it looked like there was two feet there, they didn't even slow down. They know how to go under fences obviously and there are plenty of other places where they can get in, there's no way I can put traps around 55 acres," said Tom Friddell, owner of Windy Hill Farms.
Friddell caught one dog biting the head and neck of one of his sheep.
Another 6 sheep had to be euthanized because of their injuries from the dogs attack. They say more traps could be set next week.
