Homerville man arrested for meth lab in backpack

Clinch County investigators arrested a Homerville man for a having a meth lab in a backpack.

Take a look at this photo that shows all kinds of ingredients and tools used to make meth including sudafed tablets, lithium batteries, pure lye, ice packs, coffee filters, and fuel.

Investigators say 45-year old Vernon Sherrod hid the backpack filled with the items in the bushes at a home on Leland Smith Road.

He's charged with possession of tools to manufacture meth and manufacturing meth.
