Dougherty Middle School athlete dies after collapsing

ALBANY, GA -

Fourteen-year-old D'Andre Morgan collapsed during basketball warm ups at Dougherty Middle School last Monday, and died at a Macon hospital Saturday.

Coroner Emma Quimbley confirms that the boy died Saturday at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.

The autopsy is incomplete at this time, but a Macon doctor said that he detected underlying heart problems with the boy.
