Albany Technical College showed off its new Career Development Center Monday.
About 50 people were on hand for the ribbon cutting.
The Center will be the new home for the Career Services division of Albany Tech.
It has a large state-of-the-art computer lab equipped with 30 new computers, 10 kiosk computer stations, interview rooms and a conference room.
Albany Tech Officials say the new facility will not only benefit the college but the community as a whole.
"The Department of Labor is next door and we work together hand in glove, so we want all the employers in the community to see this as their resource. It's a place where they can come find individuals and if we don't have what they need at that particular time we'll help them get it," said Albany Tech President Anthony Parker.
The Career Services division assists Albany Tech students and graduates in finding work.
The division conducts quarterly follow-ups on graduates and employers.
