Dr. Stephen Wilder received his bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Florida in 1980, and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine (now the Temple University College of Podiatric Medicine) in Philadelphia in 1984.
Dr. Wilder completed his podiatric surgical residency in Jacksonville, Florida in 1985, then began private practice in Clearwater, Florida. He joined Albany Podiatry Associates 22 years ago in 1989, and has had a busy podiatric medical and surgical practice since then. He has also maintained a satellite office at Fitzgerald Specialty Clinic on Wednesdays (229-423-3690) since 1989. He is on staff at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and Palmyra Medical Centers, in Albany, and Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Dr. Wilder became Board Certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, in 1994 , and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He loves sports, hunting, and spending time with his family and church.
