Attended High School at Southwest Georgia Academy in Damascus, Georgia and graduated in 1976.
Attended Mercer University in Macon, Georgia and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in the Natural sciences in June 1980. While I was at Mercer, I was active in Kappa Sigma Social Fraternity, as well as in Inter-fraternity Council, Student Government Association, and Order of Omega.
Attended the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (now known as the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine). Received the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree and graduated in June 1984.
I did a surgical residency in foot surgery at Northwest General Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee. Completed in June 1985. Started private practice in Albany, Georgia in July 1985. I have remained in private practice in Albany, Georgia.
Currently, I am on staff at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Palmyra Medical Centers, and Albany Surgery Center, LLP.
I am board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery with certification in foot surgery.
Diplomate, American Academy of Pain Management.
Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Fellow of the National Society of Conscious Sedation.
