JACKSON, GA (WTVM) – Troy Davis spent most of the day Wednesday visiting with friends and family at Jackson State Prison.
His schedule is slated as follows:
At 3:00 p.m. Davis will undergo a routine physical.
Then at 4:00 p.m.,he will be given his last meal. That meal consists of a tray of a grilled cheeseburger and cookies.
Davis will be allowed to give a final statement to media at 5:00 p.m.
At 6:00 p.m., officials will give him the option of taking the sedative, Avian.
Then at 7:00 p.m. Davis is scheduled to die by lethal injection.
