When the Conductor of the Albany Symphony was recently caught in a compromising situation, he found it so very easy to point an accusing finger at two black men.

Images and prejudices makes black men both targets and victims, and many black men sit in jail today, having done nothing, nothing at all.

Had one of Albany's African American musical Icons been caught in a similar situation there would be a public outcry for his ouster, but no such outcry for Dr. Hilliard.

O what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive!

We can be thankful that The Camilla Police were more interested in seeking the truth than pursuing a lie.
