Kids don't often enjoy a trip to the doctor, but but a visit to one Albany pediatrician's office was more uncomfortable than usual.

Staff and patients suffered through a hot day at South Central Pediatricians on west Gordon Avenue. That's because thieves snagged three air conditioning units there over the weekend.

They cut through the chain link fence surrounding the units to get to them.

"It's been miserable," said Dr. Sandra Cheevers. "Kids have come in with their parents and we've just been sweltering."

They hope to get new A/C units in the next few days. This is the third time thieves have hit this building.
