Just talking to Lance Corporal Nicole McCoy it's obvious that she and her family are huge Luke Bryan fans.
"We've been listening to Luke Bryan forever. We call each other when certain songs are on the radio and say 'Your songs are on.'"
The Marine from the Albany Marine Corps Logistics Base recorded a video asking the Leesburg country star to her Military Ball late Tuesday night. It already has over 100 views.
She fell in love with Bryan's music the day she heard his tunes on the radio.
Lance Corporal McCoy feels like a visit from her favorite star would be an amazing opportunity for Bryan to show some patriotism.
"It'll show 'Hey I support my troops and I went to a Marine Corps Ball'".
McCoy has been getting a little bit of flack ridicule about asking the married man out on the date, but she says its in good fun.
"There's no intentions other than you want to meet the person you look up to, and besides I'm married," says McCoy.
McCoy's husband works on an oil rig out of town, and she hopes that this video gets her one step closer to her dream date.
