An ex Falcons football player and his son are wanted in a drug investigation in Adel.
Police say Kenneth Tippins senior a former linebacker for the Atlanta falcons and 20 year old Kenneth Tippins Junior are wanted on drug distribution and possession charges.
The two weren't home at the time police served a search warrant Thursday but thousands of dollars in cash, marijuana, crack cocaine, a gun, and stolen property was recovered from the ex football player's home on David Circle and two other homes.
Five suspects were arrested on drug related charges.
"You had several people that were buying drugs or drive up and walk up to these residences and then turn around and leave within 2 or three minutes," said Adel Police Cpl. Chris Griffin.
Kenneth Tippins Sr. was arrested in March 2008 on felony drug charges including possession of cocaine and sentenced in March 2009 to ten years in prison,He was released in 2010 after serving one year in prison.

Drug Bust Nabs Multiple Offenders: 2 Fugitives Still At-large
Adel- A six month drug investigation by Adel Police Investigators culminated on Thursday July 14th with the arrest of 5 local residents as a result of 1 search warrant executed in the 100 block of North Martin Luther King Drive and 2 search warrants in the 700 Block of David's Circle, as well as the recovery of stolen property and the seizure of cash, drugs, and a gun.
Arrested during the operation was Mastafa Tippins 27 years old of Adel, Vincent Brown 27 years old of Adel, Corey Tippins 33 years old of Adel, Alphonso Young 46 years old of Adel, and Brandi Hill 29 years old of Adel. All the suspects were charged with multiple felony offenses to include distribution charges.
Not yet arrested by authorities, but currently wanted by Investigators on drug related charges, are Kenneth Tippins Sr. 44 of Adel, and Kenneth Tippins Jr. 21 of Adel.
Kenneth Tippins Sr., former linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons, was arrested in March 2008 on felony drug charges including possession of cocaine and sentenced in March 2009 to ten years in prison, four to serve. According to the Georgia Department of Corrections website and the Cook County Superior Clerks office, Tippins was released on August 4th, 2010 after serving 1 year in prison.
During the search warrants Investigators seized over $5000.00 in US currency, approximately $2500.00 worth of drugs including crack cocaine, and marijuana, a stolen lap-top computer and a 9mm handgun.

Other agencies participating in the execution of the search warrants and assisting the Adel Police Department during this operation were the Cook County Sheriff's Office, the Berrien County Sheriff's Special Response Team, the Hahira Police Department, the Nashville Police Department, and South Georgia Drug Task Force.
