Community volunteers are raising money to help sick children. The Children's Miracle Network held its Change Bandits Bash Friday night at Austin's BBQ.
Radio station B100 is working with CMN to raise money to pay for medical equipment, toys, and specialized training for nurses.
"We've had $2,500 donated so far and 100% is staying here in southwest Georgia," said Children's Miracle Network Coordinator, Amanda Smith.
The money raised at the event will go to children's programs at Phoebe Putney Hospital. The Change Bandit Radiothon will kick off at the Albany mall Thursday June 2nd.
