Hi, everyone... this is Dennis Washington here in the FOX6 Newsroom. I am happy to hear more of you telling us you have your power back on... I know there are still people who don't, though, but I know the crews are working as fast as possible to help.

Our FOX6 News crews were very busy today visiting communities all over Alabama. FOX6 News reporter Ashley Nix found an awesome story in Brookwood today... she talked with Peggy Blevins and Dewayne Searcy. Peggy is a storm victim and Dewayne is a volunteer. The two have become great friends thanks to the storm. You can see the story here:

Also, make sure you check out our new website we launched today, www.FOX6RoadToRecovery.com. This web page has lots of information about how to help storm survivors or how storm survivors can get help.

We also have lots of information on our community websites. You can get links to your community website on our home page, MyFoxAL.com.
