Lowndes catcher wins SAOTW

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Lowndes High catcher Reid Pope is the latest WALB Student Athlete of the Week.

Reid has a 95 point grade average at Lowndes High.

He is batting .368 this season for the Viking baseball team and has thrown out 40% of opposing base runners.

He also just signed a scholarship to play baseball at Covenant College.
