Albany man dies in Florida jail

An Albany man died in a Florida jail Tuesday. Authorities believe he committed suicide.

34-year old Stephen Campbell was in the Leon County Jail on DUI and drug possession charges.

A jailer found him hanging in his cell during a routine check at 10:15 Tuesday morning.

A sheriff's spokesperson says Campbell hanged himself with a bed sheet.

His last known address was on Residence Avenue in Albany.
