Steven S. Yang, M.D., FACG, comes to Albany Gastroenterology from North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, N.Y., where he was a gastroenterology attending and associate program director at the Center. He previously worked at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, N.Y. as a gastroenterology attending and instructor. Dr. Yang is a Fellow with the American College of Gastroenterology and a member of the American Gastroenterological Association. He is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine.
He earned his medical degree at State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine in Long Island, N.Y., where he achieved clinical honors in internal medicine and primary care. He completed his medical training at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, N.J. He earned his undergraduate degree at The City University of New York Medical School, The Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education and The City College of New York.
