No charges in fatal car crash yet

ALBANY, GA (WALB) –Albany Police say no charges have been filed yet in a fatal two car crash last night in South Albany.

Two people were injured in the crash, including an 11 year old child who was critically injured.

65 year old Jeanette Ford of Albany was killed in the crash, that happened about 7:40 Tuesday night at South Slappey and West Oakridge.

Ford was in the passenger front seat of the red Chevrolet Corsica, that was T-boned on that side by a 1993 Lincoln Town Car driven by 49 year old Cheri Ann Randle of Albany.

Police say the Lincoln ran a red light and hit the Chevrolet. 11 year old Melvina Dudley was in the back seat of the Chevrolet. She has been transferred to a Macon Hospital for treatment.
