A man wanted as part of a huge dog fighting ring in Dougherty County.
This is 32-year-old Demitri Sherrod Jackson. Police say he escaped when they raided a dog fight on Dower Avenue late Saturday night.
Nearly 100 pit bull dogs were seized and 13 people arrested in that raid. Police say Jackson and another man ran off and got away.
This dog fighting investigation has expanded and pit bulls have been seized from three other places in Albany and Dougherty County.
Police say Demitri Jackson is a key player in this cruel, inhumane and vicious crime.
He's no stranger to law officers. Jackson was arrested in 1998 and charged with shooting and wounding a man.
But he's back out on the streets and now there are felony dog fighting warrants out for his arrest.
If you know where Demitri Jackson can be found, you could get some reward money.
