By Stephanie Springer - bio | email TIFTON, GA (WALB) –A suspect is now in jail in a shooting last week in Tifton.
Willie James Lee Jr. surrendered over the weekend.
Police say Lee shot through a window at 520 Alder Street, wounding 23-year old Emanuel Newsome and 18-year old Jasmine Adkins.
The bullets narrowly missed a four year old child that was sitting between the two victims.
Lee is charged with three counts of aggravated assault.
Police believe a fight led to the shooting.
