WALB's Most Wanted: Artavious Covin

On tonight's Most Wanted, a man this close to getting out of the prison system who just couldn't wait any longer and took off.

This is 29-year-old Artavious Covin.

He served time in prison for drug convictions and was, until Sunday, living at the Albany Transitional Center.

He had a job working at the Albany Civic Center.

He was just months away from parole-- in fact, he had a hearing in 60 days.

But Sunday,  Covin didn't return from his job at the civic center. Officers at the transitional center haven't seen him since.

So now, an escape warrant has been issued for him. It's possible you'll see him somewhere around town.
