SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Chief U.S. District Judge William Moore, Jr. will be presiding over the evidentiary hearing of Troy Anothony Davis in Federal Counrt in Chatham County.

There is still no date on when the hearing will take place.

Davis was convicted and sentenced to death in 1991 for the 1989 murder of Savannah Police officer Mark MacPhail.
