Colquitt - A Miller County escapee is recaptured within hours of his jail break. Thirty-eight-year-old Edward Andrew Miller, Junior was awaiting transfer to state prison when he escaped early Monday from the Miller County jail.

Miller was recaptured in Colquitt, hiding in a closet at the home of his grilfriend, Tammy Roberts.

Miller, convicted of aggravated assault, was sentenced Friday to 20 years in prison.

Roberts was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a probation violation. The GBI is investigating the escape.
