ALBANY, GA (WALB) - One Albany business is out thousands of dollars because of thieves.

On Saturday someone burglarized the J. Durham and Associates office at the Executive Center on Dawson road.

Sunday morning plywood covered the the window to the office were the suspect gained entry.

Several company computers, monitors and components were stolen. Police don't have any suspects.

An man was beaten on a city street after after asking someone for a cigarette.

Police say the incident happened in the 300 block of Sartoga Lane in East Albany.

25-year-old Kashaud Ringold said he asked a man if he had a cigarette, then said he was attacked by eight men and beaten with sticks.

The case is still active.
