Daniel "Dan" Burton Dauchy, 63, of Leesburg died August 7, 2009 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital following an illness.

A graveside memorial service will be Monday August 10, 2009 11 AM at Crown Hill Cemetery with Rev. Mike Lawson officiating.

A native of Morris NY, Dan has lived in Leesburg for the past several years.  He was a loving husband, uncle and friend to all that knew him. He was a retired Halter and Quarter Horse trainer and was know from CA to MA as one of the greatest World & Congress Halter Champion trainers. He ran breeding and training farms through out his life.

He is survived by his loving wife' Lee Beauchamp Dauchy of Leesburg, his mother-in-law, Barbara L. Beauchamp, his brother and sister-in-law, Buck and Katie Beauchamp, his brother-in-law Robert Beauchamp, his nephew Walker Beauchamp, and two nieces: Caylee and Heath Beauchamp.

Mr. Dauchy was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother.
