They say ward 2 commissioner Dorothy Hubbard, ward 3 commissioner Morris Gurr and ward 5 commissioner Bob Langstaff Jr. need to be replaced.
The Dougherty County taxpayers association is building their base and says they'll be ready to support any candidate who reflects the values they stand for.
It's a race incumbent commissioner Hubbard is ready for if she decides to run.
"We're wide open all parties all races, it doesn't matter we just want good people that represent the values we look for, which is being responsible transparent and effective," said Richard Thomas, Dougherty County Taxpayers Assn.
"Right now I am leaning towards running and I will work to defeat whoever runs against me," said Dorothy HubbardWard 2 Commissioner.
The Dougherty County Taxpayers Association has about 6 weeks to put forward new candidates.
Ward 3 commissioner Morris Gurr told WALB he will not seek re-election, we were unable to reach ward 5 commissioner Bob Langstaff about his plans for re-election.
