Valdosta - Two suspected bank robbers in North Carolina have been arrested in Lowndes County.
Charles Dowless of Whittier, North Carolina, and Tracy Saylers of Bowman, Georgia, are accused or robbing the Carolina First Bank in Sylva, North Carolina Tuesday.
They abandoned their getaway car and stole another car from a dealership.
Lowndes County deputies spotted the vehicle on I-75 early Thursday morning and arrested them.
They're being held in the Lowndes County Jail, but are expected to be transferred back to North Carolina tonight.
