The Marines kicked off their annual Toys For Tots drive Friday.
They'll begin collecting them Monday.
MCLB Albany says 38,000 toys were donated last year to 7,000 children.
They hope to collect even more this year.
Event organizers say this is an awesome opportunity to give to the less fortunate.
"It's great. It's an awesome thing to do for less fortunate children. I challenge myself as well as my family to go out and do something for the community and less fortunate kids," said GSgt. Kenneth Starkey.
You can drop off a toy of $15 or more at designated locations such as the mall and Walmart.
Registration to receive toys runs from October, 24th to November 4th.
