
DUBLIN, GA (WALB) - Randolph-Southern was a confident team heading to the GISA Class A state championship series in Dublin against Thomas Jefferson.
The confidence showed with the Lady Patriots winning game 1 9-4.
Randolph-Southern held a 4-3 lead in game 2 before the Lady Jaguars rallied to win 6-4 and force a third game.
The momentum swung to Thomas Jefferson's side in game three.
The Lady Jaguars win 8-2 to win the state title.
The state runner-up finish is the best ever for Randolph-Southern who lose just one senior from this year's team.
