Counterfeit 100 dollar bills are being passed in Albany.

Two bogus bills were passed at the East Albany Walmart in the last couple of hours.

Police say the two men who passed them had envelopes full of cash, which they suspect is bogus as well.

Merchants are cautioned to be on the lookout for the two men driving a 1990's White Chevy Caprice.

Police say the markers used to detect fake 100 dollar bills don't work.

But police say if merchants hold the bills to light, they can see the fake bills were printed on 5 dollar bills with a likeness of Abraham Lincoln instead of Benjamin Franklin.
